Snacks by Mail - A Snackbox Review & Giveaway

If you're an adventurous Canadian foodie who loves snacks and enjoys fun packages delivered to your door, Snackbox is for you.

This new subscription service is available nation-wide, sending a monthly snack box crammed with 10-12 unique and healthy snack choices to your door. There are 1, 3 and 6 month subscription options, so you can order a single box to try out the service or treat your family (and yourself) to a monthly package of goodies delivered to your mailbox. The subscription service has no commitments, so you can order as many or as few as you like, starting and stopping at any time.

My favourite thing about Snackbox is the chance to sample lots of new munchies that are all available in Canada. The boxes have a wide variety of interesting products - full-sized cereals and granolas, dried fruit, nuts, chocolates and cookies, chips and crackers, yummy drinks, unusual snacks you may have never heard of and specialty spice & herb mixes to make new dishes at home.

The boxes are curated by a Canadian nutritionist and contain healthful snacks that also legitimately taste really good. I am PICKY about healthy snacks as I was raised on them by a health conscious mum, and have tried many bland, sad excuses for 'healthy snacks' in the past.

Happily, everything I tried in the Snackbox was tasty, flavourful and satisfied both salty and sweet cravings. Many of the items are naturally gluten-free (but not noticeably so in flavour/texture) and it's nice to have a wide variety of snacks that you can whip out to create a platter for all your guests, regardless of dietary restrictions. The boxes are also very family-friendly and I can see kids getting very excited to try the new snacks that arrive each month.

December is a great time to order a Snackbox to have on hand for holiday snacking and it's also a great gift. There's a gifting option on the Snackbox website that's easy to use, making a 1,3 or 6 month gift subscription a fun and convenient choice if you've got a Canadian foodie on your Christmas list who lives far away - with no wrapping or shipping to worry about.

That's a subtle way of thiinnkg about it.

I have no idea Laura – no idea :) but some ideas come to mind like re-envisioning baatcsm/ionfirmption for evangelical churches, living in intentional communities, practicing spiritual disciplines to learn the patience like trevor mentioned, find mentors of folks that do live in ways that we see as wise.

Thank you so much Gwen for this wonderful new, I cant wait to try snackbox!!! happy holidays and Happy new year :)

I bake way more sweets but prefer salty - chips and cheesy dip are where it's at :)

I usually tend towards sweet :-)

Sweet all the way for me

I always go with the perfect salty/sweet combination! Then all my cravings are satisfied. :)
